When I first started painting, at the age of 50, this ancient silk image caught my attention and has held me captive ever since. I have painted it three times now- once on a large floor cloth; once on an old Maine toolbox and once on canvas. Each painting has adapted a bit of a unique twist. Before you is the canvas version.
