5 Kittens And A Mouse
This multi-portrait of 5 beloved kitties, all gone to the land beyond, is a depiction of the owner's babies in Paradise, patiently awaiting their owner's arrival, someday in the far off future. The client was specific in requesting the addition of the mouse to the group, creating a harmonious allusion to the familiar quote "the lion lays down with the lamb." Each cat came alive with their own unique personality, as I painted them! The owner was very pleased with the outcome, stating that I had captured each individual kitten 100%! That was happy news!
