A young woman poses before the Edgartown Lighthouse during a weekend vacation in Martha's Vineyard, Ma. Beautiful scenery and a beautiful woman! Because the sun was bright and nobody was thinking of creating a painting from the photo on that same day, her sunglasses were not removed. They became a sort of iconic reminder of a fun and carefree weekend between friends of sand , beaches, cliffs and ocean, art galleries, shops and enjoyable dining! The painting, when completed, was presented as a gift to the subject!
